Walking in the canyon yesterday and this morning grounded me in the midst of insurance denials. It was because of these that chemotherapy happened today and not yesterday. Nevertheless, we are home and as of this moment I am feeling fine. In fact, after chemo we went to a restaurant that holds many memories for us. It was the place that we met with our Realtor, Rod Miller, from The Group, our Architect/Builder, Lee Edwards and our colleagues, Bob and Iris Handa, to discuss the merits of the house we eventually bought, renovated and now enjoy living in so much, Young’s Cafe in Fort Collins, CO.
Home, now, I am delighted to report the only effect I feel is a taste that is different in my mouth.
My husband Stu stayed with me through the hours of treatment, as did my friend, Mary Shada. Lydia Doty delivered a beautiful rose to me at the hospital just as my chemo was about to start. So many of you have sent, gifts, notes and emails wishing me well. I am SO grateful for ALL of your support! I send a deep heartfelt “Thanks” to ALL of You!
As you walk with me on this journey, maybe this is a time for you to be grateful to all those who love and support you as well!

Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”
