Flooding in Colorado

This is the scene in Buckhorn Canyon, next canyon to the west of our canyon –

Redstone Canyon.

There are no floods around our home!

Two roads in our canyon were flooded. We received  a reverse 911 call Thurs – to either evacuate or stay put for days. I chose to stay put with the kitties. Stu found his way around the flooded roads to go into CSU Thurs and Fri. One of the two blocked roads opened Sat – we went out for food etc.

It is raining again today. The destruction of roads in close vicinity, such as Buckhorn canyon, Boulder, Lyons, Jamestown etc were unbelievable.
