A month and a week – following “My Personal Call to Greatness!”

Steamboat Springs, Colorado about 160 miles away was our playground yesterday – so no blog. Driving there was magnificent, the rock formations, the broad vistas and the wildlife. On the way home we saw a Moose!

Thank You Dixie and Ed for the walk yesterday and all your thoughtful gifts. Louise thanks for a great walk today. Each day the hour walk embraced by the canyon renews my spirit, mind and body as I listen to beautiful music (on my iPod) and move step by step in harmony with the music of the spheres! Mary, thanks for your visit on Friday, a reminder of the magnificence of the Universe.

Friday afternoon was occupied with working with an angel of a Nurse, Colleen from the Univ. of Colorado Hospital to find a physical therapist certified in the treatment of lymphedema – the swelling that offen accompanies the removal of lymph nodes, which normally do the job of draining fluid. Who knew there was such a person as a physical therapist certified in the treatment of lymphedema? My swelling started a couple of days ago after I began sleeping on the side that was operated on. Colleen was incredibly kind and focused to get me the help I need. I so appreciate the dedicated service of so many professionals, who are often taken for granted. I am very GRATEFUL for Colleen’s professional help delivered with such obvious caring. Because of her efforts, Tuesday morning I will drive to Longmont to the “Health Center of Integrated Therapies” of Longmont Hospital to see a Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. Oh, the things we learn!

I am reminded of “Oh, the Places You’ll go!” by Dr. Seuss

“Out there things can happen
and frequently do
to people as brainy
and footsy as you.

And when things start to happen,
don’t worry. Don’t stew.
Just go right along.
You’ll start happening too.”

Oh, how true. We have so much potential within that we have NEVER brought forth. It is my SOLID and COMMITTED intention to use the challenge of breast cancer and all that it brings as opportunities to bring forth MORE of who I am. I intend to “start happening too.”
