Becoming…?
The transformation of the earliest form of the nervous system as a tube
to the complicated structure of the adult is nothing less than amazing.
Neurons, the cells of the nervous system, born in the rudimentary tube must develop
and migrate as the tube transforms to find their appropriate place in the nervous system.
Only then do they differentiate to express their full natures.
you might say that neurons are in a continual state of becoming,
as even after they reach their final destinations they can continue to make and break connections,
described as plasticity. We, too are always in a state of becoming,
Are we headed for a destination that will allow you, like neurons,
to express your full nature?
