Resting quietly in bed - somewhat loopy. No unexpected problems. Amazing how fast one can get in and out of the hospital and still lose parts along the way.
Just talked with the surgeon and Joan did well. She is in phase 1 recovery and I will be able to see her in about an hour. They now have the tissue they need to determine what happens next.

This is a fountain I would see heading back from my walk through the neighborhood in San Diego. This tree reminded me of the breezes and beauty of Hawaii. It has been a lovely time here in San Diego. We travel home in the afternoon.
